About Us
Since 2009, we’ve built our business around one simple idea: the best place for unwanted clothes is back in circulation. The U.S. leads the world in resale, yet we still generate over 15 million tons of textile waste each year—and about 85% of it ends up in landfills or incinerators.
Wilder and our sister stores exist to change that, but we can’t do it alone. By supporting secondhand together, we can keep great pieces out of landfills, reduce the demand for new production, and conserve natural resources.
Our business collects and processes more than 300,000 garments every year. We resell 200,000 of them and responsibly donate or recycle the rest.

Wilder does not buy or consign in the store
Wilder isn’t your typical buy-sell-trade shop. Our inventory comes from StitchBack, our Richmond-based pickup service that rescues thousands of incredible garments from closets across Metro Richmond.
The response to StitchBack has been so extraordinary that we needed another store just to keep up. Voilà Wilder! With fresh inventory arriving every week, you’ll always find something new-to-you when you shop with us.
