Hi there! Formerly Rethreads, Wilder is Charlottesville’s newest secondhand clothing store for her, for him—for everyone. Although we're new to the area, we have more than 15 years of experience in secondhand fashion as the owners of Ashby, Clementine and Clover in Richmond.

Our goal is to offer the best of Rethreads, Ashby and Clementine: the same friendly sales team from Rethreads, the eclectic adult styles of Ashby plus the contemporary women's brands found in Clementine. You’ll find a variety of new jewelry and accessories, too, so you can play with your look without spending a fortune.

As for Rethreads? It's not goodbye. We're working on a new concept to give the Rethreads name a new life online. Stay tuned for its relaunch!

NOTE TO RETHREADS CONSIGNORS: Your consignor credit can be used at Wilder. Simply tell us your name when you check out, and we'll take care of the rest!

CONSIGNMENT APPOINTMENTS: Due to the tremendous amount of inventory we sourced from Ashby and Clementine during our renovation, we're not taking consignment at this time. We'll announce on social media (our Facebook and Instagram pages will be launched soon!) when we're scheduling appointments again. Meanwhile, contact us if we can help you find another place to sell your clothes.

Wilder is located in McIntire Plaza, next to Circa and across the street from High Tor Gear Exchange. Free parking is available along Harris and Allied Streets and behind the shop.
